Applications for the academic year 2022 are being accepted at National Tsing Hua University. There are several scholarship opportunities for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral studies in Taiwan. Scholars from around the world are eligible to apply for the 2021 National Tsing Hua University Scholarships.

The University of Tucson is offering 20 scholarships to international students for the spring 2022 admission period at National Tucson Hua University (NTHU). For international students, this scholarship also covers master’s (M.Phil./M.S.) and doctoral (Ph.D.) course fees.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NTHU TAIWAN
The following eligibility criteria must be met in order to apply for this scholarship:
- Students from outside of the U.S. must apply.
- Taiwan is not an eligible country for applicants.
- Health conditions (physical and mental) must be good.
- Applicants may not be receiving any other scholarships at the time of application.
- To be eligible for the Bachelor’s degree program, applicants must have a high school diploma.
- The Master’s degree program requires applicants to have a Bachelor’s/Undergraduate degree.
- The Ph.D./Doctoral degree programs are only open to applicants with a Master’s degree.
- A candidate must fill out the Application Form honestly, correctly, and completely, and then submit all required application materials.
Financial Services:
Scholarships are available to all international students at National Tsing Hua University. Scholarships are awarded according to the following criteria:
NTHU International Student Scholarship:
- NTD 20,000*40,000 per month for doctoral students.
- NTD 5,000 per month or NTD 60,000 per year for master’s students
- Students with a Bachelor’s degree: 5,000 NTD per month or 60,000 NTD per year
- Waived tuition and credit fees

- You can write your study plan in Chinese or English.
- An official statement of English proficiency will be issued by the university/department/advisor if the previous degree was taught in English.

A scholarship application does not require an acceptance letter, IELTS, GRE, or TOEFL score.
