#1 American Legion National Oratorical Contest
Seniors in high school are required to discuss some aspect of the U.S. Constitution with a focus on the duties and responsibilities of citizens to our government. In addition to the eight- to ten-minute speeches, contestants also deliver three- to five-minute speeches on an assigned topic.

#2 Do Something Scholarship
Awarded to individuals, 25 and under, who have created a significant impact and tangibly improved the lives of others in their community.

#3 Doodle 4 Google
Kindergartners through 12th graders may create a doodle they feel best represents an annual theme, such as “If I Could Invent One Thing to Make the World a Better Place…”.

#4 Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarship
Awarded to high school seniors, 21 years of age or younger, from diverse communities who have demonstrated exceptional academic, community service and employment achievements.

#5 Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship Program
- Maximum Award:$20,000
- Deadline Month:October
Each year, an achievement-based scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior. Financial need is not considered. Students are acknowledged for their capacity to lead and serve, and for their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
#6 Burger King Scholars Program
- Maximum Award:$25,000
- Deadline Month:January
Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, work part-time an average of 15 hours per week except under extenuating circumstances, participate in community service or other activities, demonstrate financial need, and plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school by the fall term of the graduating year. Burger King employees are also eligible, but applicants do not need to work at Burger King.
#7 AXA Achievement Scholarships
- Maximum Award:$25,000
- Deadline Month:December
Awarded to high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding achievement in non-academic activities.
#8 Gates Millennium Scholars Program
- Maximum Award:COA – Other Aid
Scholarships are available to African American, American Indian – Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American students with a 3.3 GPA in high school and who are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant. The program covers unmet need and self-help aid, including graduate school funding for continuing scholars in computer science, education, engineering, library science, mathematics, public health, or science.
#9 Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Contest
- Maximum Award:$10,000
- Deadline:July
The couple must be dressed head-to-toe in Duck Brand Duck Tape. Awards based on originality, workmanship, quality of duct tape use, color choice and creativity with accessories.
#10 Elks Foundation Most Valuable Student Scholarship
High school seniors who have demonstrated scholarship, community leadership, and financial need are eligible to receive this award.
